Description
In this kit you’ll find a replacement for the four rear control arm bushings that sits in the subframe. Two of them connects to the trailing arms (lower traction arms), and the other two to the control arms. They’re made of rubber from factory, while ours is an upgrade to a sealed spherical bushing. We modified an OE spherical bushing to fit. The reason we only use OE parts is that they are made to last, and are easily replaceable. You’ll also find two sealed spherical bushings for the rear front arms. A press tool is supplied to ensure an easy install.
By replacing the factory rubber bushing, this monoball bushing ensures precise camber and toe geometry during cornering, acceleration, and braking. The sealed ball joint allows better transfer of spring and shock forces to the ground, enhancing overall control. No more suspension binding, resulting in smoother movement.
Why sealed?
Sealed spherical bushings are our favorites because they are self-lubricating, and their cover prevents them from rusting. For their price, durability, and availability, it’s no use designing an aftermarket part. It lasts under hardcore driving and can be easily replaced.
Why Upgrade?
In multi-link suspensions, the lower arms experience significant cornering forces. The lower camber arm supports both the spring and shock, affecting alignment and handling. Factory rubber bushings can deflect excessively, especially with increased spring rates. The monoball bushings eliminate unwanted flex, providing consistent geometry and predictable ride characteristics.
