Description

We figured we could guide our people into giving their E46 a second glory period. Whether it’s to drift your car or to put it on the track, this bundle is made for the real enthusiasts who want to push their car at its limits without any damage. They’re installed on almost every staff car here at Tech-53 and they’ve been through hell and back without any failure.

Reinforcement plates : Designed on our staff cars, our E46 reinforcement plates have made their way into many E46, most of them being M3’s. The common cracked floors issue is then solved and protects it from tearing up under stress. This set of plates have been welded under drift cars and track cars to make them track-ready.

RTAB Bushing kit : In this kit you will find two aluminium (6061-T6) cups, where we installed two OE quality spherical bearings (made in Germany). Supplied in this kit is two adjustment sleeves, for both left and right side, that will enable you to reach an additional range of toe adjustment.
Why would I need additonal toe adjustment?
On the E36 & E46, when you lower your rear suspension, the rear wheels naturally toe out (point towards the outside of the car). You will eventually reach a point where the car is lowered to your liking, but the factory trailing arm adjustment is not enough to bring the rear wheels alignment back to 0 toe (perfectly straightened). With the additonal range of toe that this design provides, you can reach between 4 to 5mm of toe-in.
How does the adjustment work?
It is extremely simple to play with the adjustment. Both the center and inner sleeves are offsetted. The larger lip on the outer sleeve (aluminium), increases toe-in adjustment when placed inboard. The center sleeve also increases toe-in adjustment when placed inboard. You can install both parts in-board or out-board, seperately, in order to play with your toe. The main purpose of this design is to allow the driver to bring his rear wheels at a toe-in adjustment, or at 0 toe. Both are very desirable set-ups that the factory adjustment does not allow, when lowered to a certain extent.
Why not using polyurethane?
We use OE spherical bearings for the sole reason that the trailing arm performs better when a full articulation is permitted. Cheap polyurethane RTABs does not allow a correct deflection of the trailing arm. Covers both driver and passenger side.
In order to help the toe adjustment, we suggest you install this kit like pictured, so that the offset part faces the outside of your car. Replaces part #: 33322228153 and 33326757885..

Rear subframe bushing kit : Tech-53 rear sub-frame bushing kits have been tested on track for a few years already; our rear subframe bushing kit, is made to tight tolerances, and top-quality materials. Bushings are made of Delrin and go through very tight quality control. This enables you to have no slop after install. Our internal sleeves are made of strong and lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. These bushings are made for the track, drift, and hardcore driving, giving instant feedback of the rear end of the car to the chassis. The Delrin material is resilient, but not enough to produce flex, and keeps your car’s geometry where it should be. Lifetime limit warranty.

Subframe differential bushing kit : Want to remove any play in your differential? Don’t want all the vibration from a full Aluminum bushing. We have the perfect combo for you, we use Delrin/Acetal for all our diff bushings available on the website. Our Multipiece design combined with a Stainless Steel Washer to be sure that the bushing work how it was intended to do. The OEM unit will worn very quickly when driver’s use the car how they were suppose to. The sign of a worn bushing is a loud clonc in big acceleration or when clutch kicking.

Trailing arm ball-joint : This ball-joint is located on the rear upper part of the trailing arm. It also fits on the rear lower part ; it replaces the bushing, as an upgrade, to replicate the M design. Handles better than the original bushing, and also lasts longer.

Does not fit M3. Only fits Non-M E46.
