Alex’s 330Ci
Start
This is what i’ll be working with! Bone stock automatic 2002 330Ci. This was the first car I ever drove, and I always wanted to get more fun out of it.
Front end
For the front I’ll be using Tech-53 engine mounts, Tech-53 Power Steering Rack Hard Line Conversion to Stainless Steel Braided, M3 rack, Tech-53 drilled hubs, Nolathane offset lollipop bushings, Tech-53 front stainless steel braided brake lines and a set of home made shortened knuckles and extended control arms.
Rear end
In the rear I’ll be using Tech-53 subframe reinforcement plates, Tech-53 subframe bushings, Tech-53 differential bushings, Tech-53 monoball adjustable RTAB, Tech-53 rear stainless steel braided brake lines, Tech-53 drilled rear hubs, JUST Engineering camber arms and both upper and lower ball-joint trailing arm bushings.
Interior and manual swap
It’s manual now! I’ve installed a ZF 5 speed gearbox and its driveshaft, on OE transmission mounts. I’ve also installed a COOLERWORX short shifter, the regular model. As for the hydraulic handbrake setup, I’ve used Tech-53 Inline brake lines kit, a Wilwood horizontal lever and a Wilwood master cylinder. All original trims back in place.
First test
So far, so good! I tried a 3.64 welded differential at ICAR drift park, and didn’t break anything.
