The drilled oil pump nut’s purpose is to make sure it does not become loose over time and fail to provide oil pressure. A simple solution to a well known problem. Remove your oil pan, change your oil pump nut for this one, run the safety wire from the drilled hole to around the back and front of the sprocket and make sure to torque it down before re-installing the oil pan.
It comes with the safety wire.
Can be used on M50/M52/M54 and S50/S52 engines.
