The slave cylinder receives the hydraulic pressure from the clutch master cylinder. It converts this hydraulic pressure into mechanical force. If the slave cylinder fails or leaks, it can cause difficulties in shifting gears and lead to clutch problems.
This item replaces part number 21526785966.
It fits all 5 Speed E46, and also all E36.
