BMW E36 / E46 Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms

Description

Our BMW E36 / E46 rear upper arms are truly unique in design.

With competition use in mind, we realised that the bolt holding this arm to the subframe can only be removed if the differential is out of the way. This means that in the event of a crash, only having 5 minutes to replace a damaged arm is virtually impossible, or extremely difficult at best. Therefore, we designed this arm to make make sure it can easily be changed within 5 minutes.

The arm is made in 2 pieces that can be un-bolted easily. The inner bearing piece is more than strong enough and will never break during a crash, so this section can stays on the car.

Also, the adjuster is placed at the knuckle, making it much easier to adjust.

The entire construction is made of high strength structural steel and chromoly tubing. Everything is TIG welded and all the hardware is forged chromoly.

We even add the OEM style sway bar mount too!.

These rear upper control arms can only be used with true-coilover style suspension in the rear.

The adjustment is helpful for track width adjustment. For example, when upgrading to aftermarket axles, some kits require you to move the trailing arm outboard and extend your track width.

Sold as a pair. This kit replaces and upgrades both control arm 33326781626 and bushings 33321092247. In this kit, the bushing is replaced with a spherical bearing.
