Description

The rear differential bushing tends to fail on the E46. The subframe will fall apart around it, and will most likely need major fabrication work or another rear subframe as a fix. If yours have given up, or you’re looking to prevent this issue from happening at the track, this is what you’re looking for.
Here’s our solid differential mount kit. It does not require a different subframe, or differential. Made out of a quarter inch thick 44 000psi steel plates, this is a bulletproof solution for track cars.
Supplied with this kit are two lower brackets, that will bolt on your differential cover, and two upper brackets that are meant to be welded on your subframe. It does not require the differential cover to be opened, which can potentially create a leak. This kit comes with all the necessary hardware and graded bolts.

We have designed this E46 solid diff mount kit for a competitive drift car with 518 whp, which had previously experienced a rear diff bushing failure.

I’m currently still using a rear differential bushing, when should I switch to this solid diff mount kit?
If you’re still using the stock motor, chances are you won’t ever need this kit. If you’re planning on turbo / supercharge / engine swap your E46, this is a must. The rear differenial bushing will give up.

My front diff bushings are still OE, what’s my best option?
We suggest you use two Tech-53 front differential bushing when this kit is installed. The E46 solid diff mount is not meant to be used on factory front bushings.
