We all know that the E36 floors start to tear / crack over time in the rear subframe section. They are not only caused by spirited driving, but also corrosion. We have seen many low mileage with cracks around the rear subframe. It is important to address this issue before the chassis damage gets any worse.

These reinforcement plates are made to be welded. We recommend a professional installation. Failing to install these plates in the state of the art could result in useless work. In order to come into effect, the plates must be welded directly on the chassis. You can’t leave a gap in between.

This E36 subframe reinforcement plates kit comes with all 4 needed plates. It fits all E36 except Compact (Ti) models.

Lastly, we strongly recommend you also reinforce the front and rear strut towers of your E36. These are two other well known weak spots of this car.
