MK1 Brake and clutch pedal bushing

Another first: the NLA pedal bushings for brake and clutch pedals are now produced in house to extremely close tolerances. We CNC machine the Delrin bushings to a tight tolerance, on both OD and ID. This feature will make the pedals feel smooth and solid at the same time.

If you have a brake pedal that has the tendency of not returning, or needs help getting back up, its most probably that your pedal bushings are in need of replacement.

This is a 20-30 minute job; take out the clip on the side of the pedal box. Be sure to take a picture on how the return spring of the brake pedal is mounted on the boss, remove the pin, to remove both clutch and brake pedals. Using any stock that is 5/8 (0.625) punch out the old bushing. Insert the new bushing in the hole of the pedal, taking care not to deform the entrance of the bushing. Assembly is the reverse of removal.
