Tech-53 rebuilt transmissions quality commitment / terms and conditions.
All transmissions will be opened and inspected by our qualified technicians. The process, is to inspect
the following items:
-All bearings: Sign of delamination, hammering, oxidation or pitting if present, will be communicated
-All gears and synchros: Each of them will be checked for pitting, cracks, and damage. Synchros will be
submitted to a drag test, to ensure they are still effective, and not worn.
If a gear or a synchro has to be replaced, it will be invoiced seperately.
-Differential, and related parts: If a Wavetrac is installed, this part has a lifetime transferable warranty.
If a stock differential is used, we will inspect the components, and our rebuild flat rate, includes the
differential bearings, and also the necessary shims and pre-load, for single input shafts transmissions
(020, 02A, 02J, etc.) This is included in the rebuild service. For dual input shafts transmissions (02M,
02Q, 02S, etc.) the differential bearings are inspected, as they almost never need to be changed. If so, it
will be communicated.
-Seals: All seals are included in the rebuild flat rate pricing.
-Casings: All casings are inspected for cracking and deformation
