This is the iconic 1980 Scirocco Fred has been building over the years to fulfill his need for speed. It has been a bench of trial to design the best products for the track application. The first ever version of our VW MK1 Tubular Control Arms have been designed on this car and it still sits on it.
This is what's hiding under the fiberglass hood : an ABF clone 16v with Weber carburetors. It also has a dogbox 02A transmission with a limited-slip differential.
With a total weight of near 815kg, Fred welded his own roll-cage and replaced the glass windows with Lexan.
