More about the rear subframe floor reinforcement plates...

If you plan on enjoying and keeping your E36, then we recommend you weld reinforcement plates as soon as possible. This issue can not be avoided, there's no way around it. One day or the other, the floors will crack. We have seen daily drivers with craks around the subframe mounting point. Road racing and drifting accelerates the process, as it induces a lot of stress on the chassis. Torn floors are dangerous, as the subframe can drop on the ground at any moment. We use a wide style design that covers a much wider portion of the chassis, in order to be as strong as possible. In order to get the most out of the plates, we cut the plates on the inside so that they can be plug welded. A wide plate that isn't plug welded is useless. Our steel plates are beefy enough to reinforce the floors, while retaining some malleability. They are ideal for road racing or drifting. They are welded under a lot of V8 powered cars without any issues. Once welded in, you will not be able to tear the floors, no matter the horsepower or tire size you use.

More about the subframe bushings...

Upgrading the subframe bushings is beneficial to everyone who owns these BMW. The factory subframe bushings are so bad, daily driving is enough to wear them down. It is one of the most profitable maintenance you can give your BMW. Our latest design allows you to raise your subframe or retain its original position. Installing this kit without the top bushings allows you to bolt the subframe directly on the chassis, half an inch higher than the original position. If you install everything this kit provides, it retains the original subframe height. This kit comes with four Delrin subframe bushings, four 6061-T6 aluminum inner sleeves and four 6061-T6 aluminum top bushings.

More about the differential bushings...

The 3 differential bushings are put through a lot of stress at every acceleration. Their job is to keep the differential in place. They wear every time the engine loads power on the drivetrain. They are made of rubber from the factory. Rubber is a good damping material, but it wears quickly. If left unaddressed, the differential will move up and down, creating abnormal sounds and putting other drivetrain components, such as your axles, at a higher risk of failure. If you hear a clonk noise when releasing the clutch, you definitely need to replace them. Every bushing we manufacture is made to withstand the abuse road racing or drifting can put on them. Our internal sleeves are made of strong and lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The outer sleeves are made in Delrin, a resilient material that keeps the components in place, while retaining a minimum of comfort.

More about the variable toe monoball RTAB...

The rear trailing arm bushings, most commonly known as RTABs, are the first bushings to wear in the trailing arms. They play an important role in your toe alignment. You can tell the trailing arm bushings are shot when the tire wear is uneven, clonk noises are coming out of the trailing arm or when the rear end feels unpredictable. This kit replaces, and upgrades the RTABs to a monoball bushing that is also adjustable. Both the E36 and E46 rear suspension is made so that the alignment toes out when it's lowered. You will eventually be lowered to a point where the factory adjustment can't bring the alignment at 0 toe. You reach between 4 to 5mm of toe-in with the additional range of adjustment that this kit provides. Both the center and inner sleeves are offset. The larger lip on the outer sleeve (aluminum), increases toe-in adjustment when placed inboard. The center sleeve also increases toe-in adjustment when placed inboard. You can install both parts in-board or out-board, separately, in order to play with your toe. We have designed this kit to allow the driver to bring his rear wheels at a toe-in adjustment, or at 0 toe. Both are very desirable set-ups that the factory adjustment does not allow, when lowered to a certain extent. Our monoball design allows a full articulation of the rear trailing arms. It is ideal for track days. Unlike most aftermarket spherical bearings, they are sealed with a rubber boot. It is much more durable, and doesn't require any maintenance or cleaning.

More about the upper & lower trailing arm ball-joints...

The E46 M3 trailing arms were equipped with ball joints at both the upper and lower mounting points. On the non-M E36 and E46 models, BMW opted to use a rubber bushing at the lower mounting point rather than a ball joint. During cornering, this rubber bushing tends to wear out significantly faster than a ball joint would. Thankfully, you can replace the bushing with a ball-joint to copy the E46 M3 design. This kit includes four OE trailing arm ball-joints in order to refresh the upper ball-joints and upgrade the lower bushings.

More about the upper control arm bushing...

This bushing is found at the end (subframe side) of your rear upper control arm. It is one of the most neglected bushing in the rear end assembly.

More about the RTAB reinforcement plates...

Each plate is made of 44 000 psi steel, 1/8 inch thick. This kit includes two reinforcement plates for the rear trailing arm pockets.
