Description
Application for : VW Mk1 Mk2 Mk3 Corrado and B3/B4 Passat. These stub axles kits / assemblies, have both 4X100 M12, and 5X100 M14 bolt pattern.
Time to address the famous rear stub axle and bearings, that are known to fail and break. If you track your car, the rear bearings and axles are a very common problem area. This will permanently fix this issue. Even for street applications, this upgrade is without a doubt, one of the best things you can do on your car. No more small conical bearings, preload, adjustements, and broken stub axles. They go from a 15mm bearing race, to a 30mm bearing race; enabeling load rating, to close than more than 4 times OEM specs.
This is next level engineering: Our proprietary design rear stub axle, made out of heat treated 4140 chrome moly steel, will now make your car bullet proof for the rear bearing / stub axle assembly. Tech53 stub axles, have a lifetime transferable warranty.
A great deal of R&D went into this amazing product; The stub axles will fit on all Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, Corrado and Passat B3 rear beams. This kit will retain the proper wheel offset, and are compatible with stock brake components, and are also compatible with our Wilwood rear brake kits. Replacement rotors are in stock and can be shipped out quickly (modified Mk4 rotors). The kit can also be serviced with OEM Mk4 bearings if ever you need to do so.
Kit comes with 1XRH, 1XLH custom heat treated stub axles, 2X custom machined German made hub bearing assemblies, 2X Zimmerman German made rotors with Hybrid bolt pattern, and all necessary graded hardware.
ABS sensor hole is present, and holding bracket for the sensor is available as an option.
Another amazing feature, is that they are hybrid bolt pattern for both 5X100 (M14) and 4X100 (M12). The one common hole of both bolt patterns is Helicoiled M12X1.5: If you are running 5X100 wheels, just remove the helicoil, Its that simple !
We strongly recommend using stud conversion kits with these; the M12X1.5 Screw thread insert is made of Stainless steel, and could possibly gall, with the torque used with wheel bolts (AKA cold welding) Using a stud conversion kits is a must, in any motorsport applications.
