What You Need: 

  • MK4 DBW throttle pedal (1J1 721 503J) 

  • Upstream O2 sensor only (new or from donor) 

  • Bosch 044 fuel pump (or equivalent meeting pressure/volume requirements) 

  • Tech-53 1.4T ECU flashed and tuned for the stand alone swap. 

Optional Additions: 

  • Brake switch (Can be configured as an input for any additional tuning, such as launch control, etc) 

  • Clutch switch (Can be configured as an input for any additional tuning, such as launch control, etc) 

What You DON'T Need: 

  • CANBUS connection to chassis 

  • Downstream O2 sensor 

  • Chassis-side core harness 

  • Complex ECU reprogramming for chassis integration; ECU solution from Tech-53 is plug and play.
