Core exchange program

You must add the recommended core to your cart with this item. If we have a core in stock, we will ship your Tech-53 ECU up-front. Once you receive your ECU, you must take out yours and contact us for an RMA. We will instruct you to ship your stock ECU to our shop. If you send us a working ECU from a manual transmission vehicle, we will refund you the core charge. If a working ECU from an automatic transmission vehicle is received, only $50.00 (USD) of the core charge will be refunded. If you send us a defective (non-working) ECU, we will not refund your core charge.

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping and transportation costs incurred when returning item(s) to Tech-53. As Tech-53 operates from Canada, international returns may be subject to additional duties, taxes, or customs-related fees imposed by carriers or border authorities. These charges are not covered by Tech-53 and remain the sole responsibility of the customer. Any invoice paid by Tech-53 upon reception of your parcel will be deducted from the refundable amount.
