Brandon’s MK1 Cabby

Here is Brandon’s VW MK1 Cabriolet aka “That 1.8t Cabby”. A beautiful car from Pennsylvania that came to see us at Eurokracy 2022 in Montreal, Canada. We met him at MK1 Madness 2022 and convinced him to do the 500 miles drive. It has the classic Bergcup fender flares and with that livery, you can’t miss it on the road.

Mechanic

The 1.8t (AWP) is not your average swapped car, this one is the real deal. It has a set of Stage 2+ camshafts, 650cc injectors, a Pulsar GTX3076r dual ball bearing (with t51r mod) turbo, Coolerworx short shifter and much more.

Brakes

This thing can also slow down quickly. It has the 280mm Tech-53 Front big brake kit and the Tech-53 rear dual caliper big brake kit. A nice match to his 15″ Work Meister wheels.

Chassis

As for the chassis, it is sitting on a BC Racing (with swift springs) coilover set, it has a ST Suspension rear sway bar, Prothane control arm, rear beam bushings and many more. As you can see (because it’s a cabriolet) it even has a roll-cage, Sparco bucket seats and a Momo steering wheel.
