Here's Tech-53 1.4TSI Swap Mount Kit for the VW MK1. The engineered solution for the 1.4 TSI swap. Precision-designed and built without compromise. 

This isn't another adapter kit. Every component was 3D-scanned, FEA-tested, and refined through development to deliver the strength, geometry, and functionality this swap demands. 

Fabricated from 100,000 PSI steel with machined accuracy that reflects a decade of learning what works—and what doesn't, with a fully FEA-validated design. All parts were CAD-modeled from 3D-scanned engine and chassis data to ensure maximum clearance, precision positioning and optimal oil pan clearance. Entirely TIG welded in house.

Our passenger side mount retains four OEM anchor points with the integrated 3D boss provision on the cylinder head. It mounts to both block and head. The alternator anchors directly to the mount for OEM-grade alignment precision. 

The transmission side mount is our 7th-generation 02A/02J design (evolved since 2014). It is compatible with the 1.4 OEM 0A4 transmissions and 02J units with VSS output. Note: 02A transmissions lack the lower threaded provision for dogbone“ mounting. 

Our rear mount is purposely designed for maximum suspension travel. Dual rubber bushings on the aluminum dogbone minimize NVH transfer to the cabin. 

We retain factory MK1 side mount bushings in their correct orientation—no reversal required like earlier 1.8 swaps. FEA confirms optimal torque management across all three mounting points.

This mount kit is the foundation. Coming soon: matched downpipe (available), clutch conversion (available), standalone ECU calibration (MED17.1.21 & MED17.1.27), wiring harness, and supporting components including standalone intercooler and upgraded fuel pump options. 

ECU development is underway with dyno testing scheduled for final calibration. Stand-alone operation—N80, BCM, and dash module removal, and Immo off and Proprietary tune to produce in the range of 200hp and 280ft/lbs approx... 

This kit is made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for manufacturing.
